Sending a quote on WhatsApp
One tap: WhatsApp opens with the message already written for your client.
- Open the Quotes tab and tap the quote.
- Tap “Send on WhatsApp”: WhatsApp opens with a message ready to go (a greeting, the total and how long the quote is valid).
- Check the text and press send, as usual: the message leaves from your number.
With an account, the message also carries a link to the PDF: your client opens it on their phone. The link can't be guessed and isn't indexed by search engines, but anyone who has it can open it: send it only to your client. Without an account, the message lists the items, and you send the PDF as a file with the “PDF” button.
The quote moves to “Sent”. When the client replies, mark the quote accepted or declined. If they don't reply, Velito suggests a reminder after the number of days you've chosen.
The client's mobile number is optional: without it, WhatsApp lets you pick the contact. If you enter it, include the country code (+39 for Italy).
