Cookies

Which cookies and which data we keep in your browser, and why.

Updated 1 October 2026

Technical cookies

  • NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose. It lasts one year.
  • sb-…-auth-token: keeps you signed in, only if you sign in. It's set by Supabase, our accounts provider; it lasts up to 400 days and is removed when you sign out.
  • velito-demo: remembers that you're looking at the demo. It goes when you close the browser.

They're needed for the website and the app to work, and need no consent.

Data kept in your browser

Besides the cookies, Velito keeps a few things in your browser (local storage) that stay on your device:

  • velito:db: the demo's data, and that of a business built before signing in, until you save it to your account;
  • velito:consent: your cookie choices;
  • velito:locale: the app's language;
  • velito:auth: your sign-in, only in the iPhone app, which uses no cookies;
  • small preferences, like notices you've already seen, the page to return to after signing in, or a pilot invite.

Analytics and advertising

We use no analytics, profiling or third-party cookies. We count which of the app's features are used, but without cookies: the privacy policy explains how. If we add analytics with cookies in the future, we'll only turn them on with your consent: you can already say no in the cookie preferences.

Business websites

Every website built with Velito has its own cookie notice and privacy notice. It only stores the visitor's choice, and the Google Maps map loads only if the visitor opens it or accepts.

Managing them

You can change your choices at any time from “Cookie preferences”, at the bottom of every page, and delete cookies and data from your browser settings.
