Changing the text

In the Website tab, under “Text”, change the headline, the line under it, the tagline, “About”, “Why us”, the FAQ and “How you appear on Google”, that is the title and description Google may show. Then tap “Save changes”.

Only write things that are true for your business. To remove a point or a question from the website, empty it.

Showing, hiding and moving sections

Under “Sections”, switch each section on or off and move it by dragging, or with “Move up” and “Move down”. The top of the page always stays first and the contact details always show.

Having Velito rewrite the text

From a section's menu, “Rewrite text” prepares a new version of that section, for example shorter; the rest of the website doesn't change. The options depend on what Velito can do at that moment: “Shorter” is always there. If you don't like it, tap “Undo” in the message at the bottom.

“Rewrite with Velito” redoes the headline, About, Why us and the FAQ all at once, with new example text instead of what's there now. You can undo this too.

Services and prices on the website

Your website's services are edited in the Website tab under “Services”, or in Settings › Business › Services: name, price (fixed, “from” or on quote) and duration. The price list for quotes is a different thing: it's in Settings › Business › Price list.

Your website's language

Your website has its own language, which can differ from the app's: choose it in Settings › Website › “Website language”. “Also show an … version” adds a second language, with a small IT / EN switch at the bottom of the website. Velito writes the second version starting from example text: it isn't a word-for-word translation of yours.
