Publishing and sharing your website
Check it, publish it and send clients the link, with a QR code too.
Velito builds your website while you set up your business, but keeps it as a draft: until you publish it, only you can see it, in the Website tab.
- Open the Website tab and tap “Publish…”.
- Velito checks everything is there: the name, a valid phone number, at least one service, your opening hours, an opening photo or the headline. Your VAT number is recommended: Italian law asks for it at the bottom of the site.
- If something is missing, tap “Fix” next to it, then come back.
- Tap “Publish”.
Sharing your website
Once your website is live, tap “Share”: copy the link, send it with WhatsApp or another app, or download the QR code to print for your van or shop window. Anyone who scans it with their phone opens your website.
Your website's address
Your website has a Velito address, shown in the Website tab. If you have your own domain, like www.rossiplumbing.com, you can connect it: see “Using your own domain”.
Taking it offline
Tap “Take offline”: the website disappears for visitors but stays in Velito with all its text. Publish it again whenever you like.
The “Website built with Velito” credit
At the bottom of every website there's a small “Website built with Velito” credit, linking to Velito's page. Today it's on every website and there's no setting to remove it.
